Guests are coming to the festival

The participants of the III International Music Festival of Asian-Pacific Region are coming to our city. A conductor of the Sydney Opera Tom Woods has already started his rehearsals. Under his conducting the Krasnoyarsk Symphony Orchestra will perform in the first official concert on June 29, 2012 at 15:00 in the Maly Hall of the Philharmonic Society. The musicians of the Orchestra appreciate the professionalism of the Australian conductor. In the creative portfolio of Tom Woods there are world premieres of operas: A Streetcar Named Desire, Madam Butterfly, Turandot, La Traviata, Masquerade, The Barber of Seville, Daughter of the Regiment, Gondoliers, Tolerance and the ballet Romeo and Juliet, Carmen. Tom Woods worked with the State Opera of South Australia, the West Australian Opera, and the Royal New Zealand Ballet.
In addition, in the midst there are rehearsals of the Krasnoyarsk Municipal Chamber Orchestra with Japanese Maestro Yoichi Sugiyama. On July, 1 at 19:00 in the Maly Hall of the Philharmonic Society there will be held a concert of chamber and orchestral music. Nanae Yoshimura, the performer on the giant 20-stringed Japanese "gusli" – Koto, will also perform there, and Eliza Cho, a soprano from Korea.
On the eve in Krasnoyarsk there also arrived a vocalist Yuriko Nonaka (Japan), a conductor and pianist Martin Piecuch and a pianist Regan Ryzuk (USA). Yuriko Nonaka will perform as Madame Butterfly in the opera by Giacomo Puccini on July, 1, 2012 in the Krasnoyarsk Opera and Ballet House (19.00).
Martin Piecuch (saxophone) and Regan Ryzuk (piano) will play a duet at the concert on July, 1 at 19.00 in the Maly Hall of the Krasnoyarsk State Academy of Music and Theatre. Martin Piecuch, besides the saxophone, masterfully plays the clarinet, flute, bassoon and oboe. He is the Music Director and a conductor of the U.S. Congressional Philharmonic Society and the first American conductor of the previous, II International Music Festival of the Asian-Pacific region in Krasnoyarsk.
An American composer and pianist Regan Ryzuk is a winner of professional competitions in the sphere of jazz music and composing of original music (in 2005 and 2009).
Among the participants who have already come to the festival there are guests from Taimyr and Evenkia. The Nganasan ethno-folk group "Dentedie" and the Evenk folk song and dance group "Osiktakan" (("Little star")  will present the Krasnoyarsk public vivid traditional art of indigenous peoples of the region on the street stages on June, 30 and in the Gala-concert of folklore groups on July, 1 at 19:00 in the Big Hall of the Philharmonic Society.
Today there are coming the representatives of India, the art of which has a lot of passionate and loyal fans in our country. The Dance group «Malwa Sabhyacharak Club» (India) will perform in the Gala-concert of folklore groups on July, 1, 2012 at 19:00 in the Big Hall of the Philharmonic Society and at the City Day on June, 30 on Mira Street in front of the shopping center "Avenue" (working time of the stage 13:45-19:00) and on Surikov and Parizhskaya Kommuna streets (working time of the stage 13:30-19:00).
