III Krasnoyarsk International Music Festival of Asia-Pacific Region will start tomorrow. Sold-out concerts of the Chinese piano virtuoso Ji Liu, the group of Japanese drummers Sanshu Asuke Taiko, the concert of "Jazz Lady" Michelle Nicole and duet The Baker Suite from Australia will be held in Krasnoyarsk. Nevertheless, the Krasnoyarsk still have the opportunity to buy tickets for the exciting events of the Festival.
Remind that the Concert of Art Masters of Krasnoyarsk Region will be held on 28 June 2012 at 19.00 in the Big Concert Hall of the Krasnoyarsk Regional Philharmonic Society (2b Mira).
A gala concert of folk groups of the participating countries will start at 19:00 on 1 July 2012 in the Big Concert Hall of the Krasnoyarsk Regional Philharmonic Society (2b Mira).
In the Small Concert Hall of the Philharmonic Society (2b Mira) there will be a concert of chamber and orchestra music directed by the Japanese conductor Yoichi Sugiyama (1 July 2012 at 19:00) and a concert of the Krasnoyarsk Academic Symphony Orchestra (2 July 2012 at 19:00). Conductor - Maestro from Singapore, Yan Yin Wing.
2 July 2012 in the Organ Hall (20 Dekabristov St.) at 19.00 there will be the concert Masterpieces of Opera Classic with the participation of the leading opera singers of Asia-Pacific countries.
The festival program of the Krasnoyarsk State Opera and Ballet Theatre (2 Perensona St.) includes three performances – 29 June 29 2012 at 19.00 audience will see the brightest premiere of the season with beautiful scenery - the epic opera Sadko by Nikolay Rimsky-Korsakov, 30 June 2012 at 19.00 - ballet by Adolphe AdamGiselle with soloists Cao Shuci and Sheng Shidong from China, and 1 July 2012 at 19:00 - the opera by Giacomo Puccini Madama Butterfly in which the main roles are performed by soloists from Japan and Mongolia.
2 July 2012 at 19:00 and 3 July at 15.00 in the Big Hall of the Krasnoyarsk State Academy of Music and Theatre (22 Lenina St.) the Youth Orchestra conducted by Tao Lin (China) will perform.
The concert John Mclaughlin & Remember Shakti will be the final musical event of the Festival. On 3 July 2012 at 19:00 in the Big Concert Hall of the Krasnoyarsk Regional Philharmonic the legendary band and one of the world's best guitarists John Mclaughlin will play jazz with elements of Indian folklore.
