The premiere of the opera Sadko can be seen on-line
On June, 29th on the stage of the Krasnoyarsk Opera and Ballet House spectators will see the epic opera Sadko by Nikolai Rimsky-Korsakov, the last premiere of the XXXIV season. The show will be held within the III International Music Festival of Asian-Pacific region.
To perform the main roles in the opera Sadko there have been invited well-known singers from Russia, Korea and Mongolia. Mikhail Gubsky, a soloist of the Bolshoi Theatre, the Honoured Artist of Russia will perform the title role, the second prize winner of the International Tchaikovsky Competition in 2011 Amartuvshin Enhbat (Mongolia) will perform the role of a Venetian guest, an Indian guest will be performed by O Ken Sik (South Korea), Altanhuyag Bayasgalan (Mongolia) will perform the role of a Varangian guest.
The choreographer is the Honoured Artist of Russia Sergey Bobrov, the stage director is Nadezhda Stolbova (Moscow). The stenography designer and costume consultant is Dmitry Cherbadzhi, an academician of the Russian Academy of Arts. The music director is the chief conductor of the Krasnoyarsk Opera and Ballet House, the Honored Artist of Russia Anatoly Chepurnoy.
On the same day on the site of the theater www.krasopera.ru there will be on-line broadcast of the opera Sadko. The beginning is at 19.00.
