The famous American band Eli Yamin Blues Band is among participants of the III Krasnoyarsk International Music Festival of Asian-Pacific Region. Musicians from the United States will perform in Krasnoyarsk jazz and blues - from the church to classical, from bebop to folk....
The concert program includes compositions: the American jazz pianist and composer Billy Taylor, one of the most popular bluesmen of the XX century Robert Johnson, an outstanding representative of the New Orleans school of rhythm and blues Earl King, as well as the American singer of country blues Henry Thomas and other musicians.
The quartet of American jazz teachers of musical schools merged into the band Eli Yamin Blues Band in 2004. The band leader is Eli Yamin (piano and vocals) - jazz pianist, singer and composer. Bob Stewart (tuba) - Master of Music, played in various jazz bands, including the world famous band of Dizzy Gillespie. Inyang Bassey (vocals), known as the best contemporary jazz performer, composer and arranger. LaFrae Sci has worked with jazz, blues, pop, rock and hip-hop artists.
The Blues Band toures the world, band members have visited with concerts India, China, Brazil, Mali, Chile, the Balkans and other countries around the world. In particular, they have played in Lincoln Center, Blues Alley and The Riley Center (USA), The Cultural Arts Center (Montenegro), as well as in the White House of the USA president Barack Obama, U.S. The arrival of the band in Krasnoyarsk is organized under the support of the USA Embassy in Moscow.
Concert Eli Yamin Blues Band will be held on 2 July, 2012 in the Krasnoyarsk Music Theater (129 Mira St.) at 19.00.
