Japanese Drummers performed in Krasnoyarsk city again
1 year after participating in the III Krasnoyarsk International Music festival of the Asia-Pacific region, musicians from the country of rising sun came back to Krasnoyarsk city.
The band of Japanese drummers Sanshu Asuke Taiko gave 2 concerts at the open venues during the Krasnoyarsk’s city 385th anniversary holiday. At the days of the festival and at the anniversary’s holiday the concerts of the drummers were full house and became one of the most significant event of the holiday.
The band Sanshu Asuke Taiko was founded in 1996, the age of the participants ranges from 12 to 59. They regularly participate in festivals and holidays around the world. This February the head of the Krasnoyarsk city Edkham Akbulatov visited the native city of the band – Toyota city. He personally has invited them to visit Krasnoyarsk and perform for the Krasnoyarsk citizens. Their performance became one of the final events at the city’s anniversary holiday.
By the way, Japanese drummers are not the only people who came back to Krasnoyarsk after the Festival. Last December the participant of the Eli Yamin Blues Band LaFrae Sci visited Krasnoyarsk. LaFrae is a drummer from New-York and also plays a lot of different music instruments. In Krasnoyarsk she gave several master-classes on singing and playing wind instruments for students of musical schools and colleges.
Now the preparations for the IV Krasnoyarsk International Music festival of the Asia-Pacific region are going on. The Festival Administration is preparing regulation documents, working with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russian Federation, Embassies of the Asia-Pacific countries, different international cultural organizations and federal government bodies.
The IV Krasnoyarsk International Music festival of the Asia-Pacific region will be held in Krasnoyarsk city on June 26 – July 4, 2014.
