Vanessa-Mae comes back to Siberia
A famous violinist will perform in Abakan - the capital of the neighboring Republic of Khakassia. The concert at the stadium "Sayan" will be dedicated to the International forum “Historic-cultural heritage as a source of socio-cultural development”. The stadium is designed for 21,000 people. According to the Khakas media the price of the tickets will be from 50 rubles.
Vanessa-Mae was the headliner of the III Krasnoyarsk International Music Festival of the Asia-Pacific region a year ago. She performed with a 1.5 hour concert in the open area near the Big Concert Hall on June 29. 15 thousand people came to see the concert.
Vanessa-Mae became popular in the mid-90s due to the arrangements of the classical pieces. Her style is "techno-acoustic fusion" or pop violin. Her music can be heard throughout the world. The fact is that her parents are of Sino-Thai origin. Vanessa lives in Switzerland now.
