Boris Godunov" opera presented at the APFestival is nominated for the National Theatre Award "Golden Mask"
The Krasnoyarsk State Opera and Ballet Theatre gave the closing performance of the IV Krasnoyarsk International Music Festival of the Asia-Pacific region - "Boris Godunov" opera by M. Mussorgsky, staged in the first author's edition.
Fot soloists of the Alisher Navoi State Academic Bolshoi Theatre Masumakhon Boltaboeva (the role of Kseniya) and Honored Artist of the Republic of Uzbekistan Samandar Alimov ( the role of Yuródivïy) it was difficult to get into the production for such a short time. But the full hall and ovations of the public showed that the performance was a success.
Opera "Boris Godunov" staged by Nadezhda Stolbova has been nominated for the National Theater Award of the All-Russian Festival of performing arts "Golden Mask", and on July, 4 for the performance there will come theater critics of the Boards of Experts of the most prestigious competition of the country.
On July, 6 the performance will finish the 36th theater season.
On these dates the title roles will be performed by soloists of the Moscow Theater "New Opera" Vitaly Efanov (Pimen), Sergey Polyakov (Shuysky), Honored Artist of Russia Mikhail Gubskiy (Grisha Otrepyev), Vladimir Kudashev will perform the role of Boris.
Together with Moscow’s performers there will go on the stage the artists of our theater Svetlana Ratslaf-Levchuk (Kseniya), a laureate of international competitions Daria Ryabinko (Innkeeper), Vyacheslav Nechipurenko (Mityukha), Alexander Mikhalev (Shchelkalov), Ilya Krivchikov (Varlaam), Vladimir Komovich (a police officer), Boris Sabirov (Misail).
