Photo exhibition of Dolores Dahlhaus "Colors and Roots of Mexico" opened in Krasnoyarsk Museum Center
Within the Asia-Pacific Festival in Krasnoyarsk Museum Center there opened an exhibition of the photographer Dolores Dahlhaus "Colors and Roots of Mexico". The exposition reproduces the color and cultural originality of this North American country. The ambassador of Mexico in Russia Rubén Beltrán Guerrero attended the opening of the exhibition.
Nature, elements of everyday life, folk costumes, as well as portraits of native Mexican people are in Dolores Dahlhaus’s photos. Every photo is a separate story about the customs of Mexican people. All the pictures are taken close-up. Many of them are perceived as a kind of abstract composition. "When I look at photos of this artist, I always want to try what she captured in the pictures and hear that melody, which she sought to portray in her photos," - said at the opening of the exhibition the ambassador of Mexico in Russia Rubén Beltrán Guerrero.
The ambassador also congratulated everyone on the opening of the IV Krasnoyarsk International Music Festival of the Asia-Pacific region. "In the heart of Russia you have organized such a grand celebration. Now in Krasnoyarsk we can learn about the culture of the majority of countries of Asia and the Pacific. Not every city has such opportunity,"- said Mr. Guerrero.
The Festival of the Asia-Pacific region will be held in Krasnoyarsk till July, 4. For more information about the time and venues of the festival can be found on www.apfest.ru.
