Renowned creative groups of the Krasnoyarsk region performed for citizens of Krasnoyarsk and guests of the Asia-Pacific region
On the eve of the official opening of the IV Krasnoyarsk International Music Festival of the Asia-Pacific region in the Big Concert Hall of Krasnoyarsk Regional Philharmonic there took place a concert of art-masters of the Krasnoyarsk region. Traditionally working in different genres Krasnoyarsk creative groups showed the audience, including a lot of foreign guests, all the beauty of the Siberian land, with its immense expanses and unique coloring.
A kind of overture to the international music forum became the premiere of a work of Moscow's well-known composer and video artist Iraida Yusupova. Symphonic Fantasia "Genesis" for two orchestras and chorus was created specifically for the festival. The work sounded in the performance of the Academic Symphony Orchestra of the Krasnoyarsk Regional Philharmonic, the Russian Philharmonic Orchestra named after A. J. Bardin and a chorus.
"The first performance of any work is always a particular responsibility for musicians. Especially if it's not just a symphonic work, but a whole multimedia creation with video projection, a chorus and two orchestras. I hope that this large-scale premiere will be long remembered by Krasnoyarsk citizens and guests of the festival, "- said the artistic director and chief conductor of the Academic Symphony Orchestra Mark Kadin.
A diverse and colorful program staged by a famous master, People's Artist of USSR Igor Shapovalov revealed viewers various facets of culture and art of the region. For example, the State Song Ensemble "KrasA" of the Regional Philharmonic premiered the song "Enesai", dedicated to the most powerful river in Siberia, and listeners enjoyed mysterious Nganasan folklore in the performance of the Nganasan ethno-folk group "Khendir".
There participated renowned artists of the Krasnoyarsk National Dance Company of Siberia of M. S. Godenko, artists of the Municipal ensemble named after G. Petukhov "Yeniseiskie zori" and of the "Jazz Ballet Valery." There also performed artists of the Krasnoyarsk State Opera and Ballet House, the Krasnoyarsk Chamber Orchestra, the Vocal Ensemble "Moonlight" of the College of Arts named after P. Ivanov-Radkevich, Children's Dance Theatre "Orlyonok".
Note, that the IV Krasnoyarsk International Music Festival of the Asia-Pacific region will last until July, 4. This week at Krasnoyarsk venues and in other parts of the region there will perform dozens of groups from 29 countries.
